Puke After Midnight

lyrics

Cottrell Road was a beacon
Through a beer dazed fog
Couldn’t get in the boozer
New year’s outcast dogs

But then access was granted
To a castle grand
Then I found myself poisoned
things got out of hand

Did a puke after midnight
A puke on the floor
Did a puke after midnight
But they didn’t kick me out their door

Jake and Em were so gracious
Shamefully I had wretched
Said their cats vomit regularly
On that brown carpet

Why did Jimmy poison me
With his death skunk weed?
Still respectfully I must take
responsibility

Did a puke after midnight
A puke on the floor
Did a puke after midnight
But they didn’t kick me out their door

At approximately 1am in the front room of a pleasant house on Cottrell Road an expulsion of vomit exteriorized from Daniel Petley's face, landing on a nice Hessian rug and a bit of wooden floor

Although the perpetrator attempted to minimise the damage by keeping a still head and channelling the flow between his trousers, the spectacle could not be contained, sparking an awkwardly supportive wave of pity and a lasting fruity, acidic odour

Did a puke after midnight
A puke on the floor
Did a puke after midnight
But they didn’t kick me out their door

Comfort from my poor partner
Wasn’t deserved
I was pleased she could leave me to sleep off
This poisonous curse

Did a puke after midnight
A puke on the floor
Did a puke after midnight
But they didn’t kick me out their door

You were all in your element
had fine time there
Gave me time to compose myself
Feeling so impaired

Jake and Em you were so kind
Wipe away our tears
Please let me attempt not puking
At your house this year

Did a puke after midnight
A puke on the floor
Did a puke after midnight
But they didn’t kick me out their door

Did a puke after midnight
A puke on the floor
Did a puke after midnight
But they didn’t kick me out their door

about

The Tit Mice Bristol, UK

The Tit Mice were an improvisational collective formed in Bristol on new years day 2013. Their intention was just to play music. However, upon attempting to do this they realised the resulting masterpieces were so powerful and moving they could either save the world or plunge civilisation into a new dark age. The latter happened. They continue to make rubbish music as an unstructured collective. ... more
