The work seems never ending
The list extends so long
Consists of names aplenty
And the spelling can't be wrong
So, his pencil is poised
For writing all day
He dreads the night shift but scribbles away
You would be amazed by this list
So, the list it goes on
And slowly extends
Perpetually Til he hits the end
Carefully constructing this list
Corrections are made
When mistakes occur
Obliterating what needs erasure
Lots of time is spent on this list
The deadline may be looming
He's keeping track of days
